Is the sonisphere cancellation really that bad? The line up last year was intense, but this year, I waited a long time for the line up and was issued a huge dose of disappointment.
I think it is. It’s way bigger than just being about certain bands not playing in the UK this summer, it’s about an entire economy and ecosystem of rock not existing for a year. It’s massive.

Where's best to start with Hot Water Music?
Oh man… it’s hard to say because they’re such a personal favourite of mine. There’s nothing to be lost from starting at the beginning and working your way through, but my personal favourite albums are ‘No Division’ and ‘Caution’. Although there’s a shitload of people who’ll say ‘Fuel For The Hate Game’ or ‘A Flight And A Crash’ are the best - but then that’s the mark of a truly classic band, that any one of four albums could conceivably be the standout…
